Shaken Udder’s dairy-free shakes, Shaken Other, have been made compliant with current HFSS regulations after the brand reformulated its recipes.
This means the dairy brand’s entire range, including dairy milkshakes, are now non-HFSS.
Available in strawberry and chocolate flavours in 330ml bottles, the Shaken Other beverages are vegan and vegetarian friendly and contain less than 5% added sugar while being under 200 calories.
The brand also uses ethically sourced coconut milk, and the cap, label and bottle are fully recyclable.
Shaken Udder is the UK’s top premium milkshake brand and are now worth £22.5m are growing by 27% year on year.
They attribute their success to “an uncompromising focus on taste and quality,” the brand said.
The dairy label uses high-quality ingredients, including real fruit, and contains B12 to support natural immunity and are high in calcium and Vitamin D.
“It has a been a top priority of ours at Shaken Udder to ensure that our shakes comply with HFSS regulations,” co-founder Andy Howie said.
He added: “Our dairy milkshakes were already compliant with HFSS regulations, and we have recently reformulated the recipe of our Dairy Free shakes to make them HFSS compliant, without sacrificing the delicious taste and flavour that we are known for.
“Our wide range of premium shakes are a delicious treat, but not an unhealthy one.”
