Christmas product round-up: The latest festive launches from FMCG brands

As the festive season is just around the corner, FMCG brands are launching their latest Christmas products. From calendars to confectionary, Grocery Gazette has taken a look at some of the sweets and snacks hitting the supermarket shelves…

Sweet treats

Nomo has launched its Choc Orange Reindeer made from orange truffle and chocolate, available exclusively in Big 4 grocer Sainsbury’s at RRP 80p. The vegan and free-from brand has also unveiled its sharing Cookie Dough Box filled with 12 cookie dough drops which can be found exclusively in leading retailer, Tesco at RRP £5.

Ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs has launched its newest festive dessert in collaboration with biscuit brand, Lotus Biscoff. The limited-edition collection includes Red Velvet Cheesecake and Caramel Lotus Biscoff Biscuit & Cream ice cream, available from Waitrose and Co-op at RRP £4.80.

Oat milk chocolate brand, Happi has unveiled two new Christmas-themed bars in Peppermint and Honeycomb Ginger flavours which retail at £2.95 each.

Bakery brand, Baker Street has added Caramel Cake Truffles to its Christmas Market range, alongside its Marzipan Stollen Loaf, Marzipan Stollen Bites Apple Stollen Cookies and Chocolate & Orange Cake Truffles. All products are currently available across convenience channels via Spar, Nisa and Co-op.

For biscuit brand McVitie’s, its Christmas selection features brand-new Bilssfuls Belgian Milk Chocolate & Cream retailing at £2.59, as well as 12 chocolate biscuit varieties included in its Victoria collection at RRP £6.75.

OGGS has re-launched its vegan Luxury Handmade Mice Pies across over 700 Tesco stores. The treat looks to put a plant-based take on the festive staple, also reducing the CO2e created by using non-animal-based ingredients.

Savory snacks

Burts Chips has re-launched its Maple Pigs In Blankets potato chips following the snacks successful sales last Christmas. The limited-edition flavour crisps can be found across the grocery channels at RRP 95p.

Pladis brand Jacob’s has unveiled its festive range and packaging across its Mini Cheddars, Mini Twiglets and ‘The Festive Selection’ which features seven cracker varieties.

Gifting

Mars Wrigley has re-launched its premium gifting range comprising Maltesers Truffles in both milk and white chocolate, as well as Galaxy Truffles including smooth chocolate, caramel and salted caramel, each retailing at £4.99.

Nomo has also uneviled both its Classic Advent Calendar and Premium Advent Calendar which includes a full-size Caramel Chocolate Bar along with 24 caramel filled chocolate drops, as well the launch of the vegan brand’s Caramel Gift Box.
