Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2015, Ulker worked for management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company advising retailers and FMCG brands on company strategy and transformation.

Speaking of her appointment on LinkedIn, Ulker said: “I’m excited to start my new job as Commercial Vice President at PepsiCo in the UK.”

Yana Synesiou, who previously held the role of VP for strategy and transformation in Bealrus, Caucasus, Central Asia, Russia and Ukraine will now be taking over the position from Ulker.

“Given Nursen, Yana and Rob’s complementary experiences and strengths, I am very excited to see how they will lead our teams through one of the most transformational periods for our industry,” PepsiCo SVP and general manager for the UK and Ireland, Jason Richards told The Grocer.
