Jisp celebrates one year of Scan & Save as shoppers save over £345,000

Money-saving and rewards app, Jisp has hit a milestone celebrating the first anniversary of its Scan & Save solution which has seen shoppers save more than £345,000 from redemptions.

Available in over 170 Nisa stores, in its first year, Jisp saw shoppers making over 500,000 scans, creating 330,000 vouches and as a result, 292,000 redemptions have been made.

Leading retailers using the Scan & Save solution have up to 1,200 shoppers using Jisp and achieve £5,500 each week in retail sales value, helping to drive footfall, spend, frequency and loyalty.

Its ‘Scan a Grand’ competitions have also seen customers winning a total of £10,000 in prize money.

‘’We’re absolutely thrilled by the success of Jisp in helping retailers save shoppers monies and rewarding them for doing so on exclusive deals from leading brands in-store,” Jisp chief customer officer, Greg Deacon said.

“As we move towards 200 Nisa partners and introducing over 150 new independent retailers through our exciting partnership with Payzone, we’re able to help hundreds of stores and their shoppers combat the current cost of living crisis, growing sales, margin and increasing loyalty locally to them.’’

Nisa retailer, Sunny Sigh added: ‘’Jisp Scan & Save has been a huge success for our store. It has allowed us to offer promotional prices that are worth screaming about on social media.

“Prices that the big supermarkets can’t even touch. It brings in crowds of new customers, coming in daily to repeat the deals too good to miss.’’

Earlier this year, Jisp partnered with GroceryAid in a bid to raise awareness of the free, welfare services available to independent retailers and to generate financial contributions for the industry charity.

The collaboration saw Jisp raising money for the charity with wholesale and FMCG brand partners by donating money every time a customer interacted with its Scan & Save service in-store, looking to generate up to £12,000.
