Gorillas launches premium and daily own-label ranges

Rapid grocery delivery service, Gorillas has added to its own-label selection with two new Premium and Daily ranges.

The Gorillas Daily range includes grocery staples such as bread spreads, pasta sauces, cold meat cuts, cheeses and fruit juices.

For its Premium range, the grocer will be offering top-end products including fresh pasta such as gnocchi, spaghetti, tagliatelle alongside ravioli filled with either truffle or spinach and ricotta.

Sweet and savoury snacks like roasted nuts and cookies will also be featured within the Premium offerings.

The new ranges which were first revealed in June, officially launched on the Gorillas app yesterday, 25 August across the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands.

This follows two more own-label ranges including ‘Hot Damn!’ which offers coffee beans, grounds, home-recyclable pods and an oat drink, alongside ‘< start-up beer >’, with two craft beers, a Bavarian Helles and a Pale Ale.

Other grocery retailers have also started to ramp up their own-label lines with Waitrose adding 14 new own-label products to its deli counter offering in May and Asda launching its ‘Just Essentials‘ range earlier this year.

This news comes as nearly half of consumers are now opting for budget and own-brand items as the cost of living crisis continues to intensify.

According to new data by Barclaycard, 47% of consumers are choosing own-branded items as inflation hits and utility bills continue to soar.
