The parent company of Waitrose, John Lewis Partnership, has appointed Co-op’s director of digital products and loyalty, Charlotte Lock, in the newly-created role of customer director.

Lock will join the company in April this year and will report directly to John Lewis Partnership’s strategy and commercial director Nina Bhatia.

She will work alongside Waitrose customer director Martin George and Claire Pointon, who holds that role for the eponymous department stores.
