Ramona’s has launched a six-figure ad campaign with Big 4 grocer Sainsbury’s.

As a result, Ramona’s posters will be visible in 250 Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.

The six-figure campaign will also be accompanied by a full-page ad in the Big 4 grocer’s magazine, which offers customers a coupon worth 25p off Ramona’s products.

The ad is set to run until 8 February, with the in-store magazine on sale until 2 February. However, the coupons can be redeemed up until 28 February.

The move comes after Ramona’s range hit the supermarkets shelves in November last year, leading to a “very positive” uplift in sales, according to Ramona’s head of sales and marketing Andrew Dobson.

Dobson added: “We believe this activity will significantly raise further awareness of the houmous and falafel range available at our stores.”

“Plus, with more and more people signing up to Veganuary each year, we knew there wouldn’t be a more poignant time to utilise this format which inevitably aids the decision-making process before purchasing.”

Ramona’s founder Ramona Hazan added: “Many supermarkets are unleashing new vegan products for Veganuary. We are absolutely thrilled to be the first brand that shoppers will see when they come through the doors at Sainsbury’s this month”.

The news comes after Sainsbury’s announced vegan supplier, Simply Green Foods will be available in stores from 22 January.
