Heinz has launched a new range of vegan table sauces to accompany plant-based meals.
The new range, Heinz Made for Veggiez, will be available in recyclable 250ml glass bottles from January 2022.
Flavours will include tomato & smoked paprika, preserved lemon & agave and balsamic & rosemary, all of which are gluten-free and free of artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
The products were developed by Heinz’s New Ventures, a team dedicated to bringing plant-based products to the market to cater for the shift towards a plant-based diet.

“We are constantly looking for ways that we can update our product portfolio to keep up with the needs of our loyal consumers,” New Ventures Kraft Heinz head of adjacencies and platform Alexandra Bayet said
“Our ambition with Heinz Made for Veggiez is to create a new category within sauces, condiments and dressings that can drive category growth by attracting new consumers to sauces who currently don’t have an option for their food preferences.
“Vegetarian meals are surpassing total meal occasions growth at home at 24.1% compared with 12.4%. So, there has never been a better time to introduce Heinz Made for Veggiez to the market.”
