Molson Coors’ European president Simon Cox has announced his retirement from the company after 30 years.
He is scheduled to leave the position at the end of this year with Sergey Yeskov succeeding him in the position from January 1 2022.
Yeskov currently works as the managing director for the business’s Central and Eastern Europe operations.
His previous work experience includes a variety of roles across the company’s senior leadership, including president and chief executive of Molson Coors international and chief sales and commercial officer at the producer’s Canadian branch.
“Simon has brought our European business to where it is today, and all of us owe him a debt of gratitude for what he has helped us deliver and who he has helped us become,” Molson Coors chief executive Gavin Hattersley said.
“We will miss his conviction in our values and his unwavering commitment to prioritising our people.”
He added: “Sergey’s well-rounded experience across geographies and business functions, along with his people-first approach, will be an asset to our Europe team and for our entire global business.
“Under Sergey’s leadership, Molson Coors will continue to build strength for our people and for our business throughout the Europe business unit.”
