Sainsbury’s launches first-ever Autumn food range

Sainsbury’s has unveiled its first-ever Autumn food range.   

The Big 4 grocer will be rolling out brand-new products based on Autumn flavours and is set to release selections based on popular on-trend flavours including truffles and ‘nduja.  

According to the retailer, its Autumn ‘Taste the Difference’ range will feature Truffle Homous for £2, Truffle Grana Padana Tortelloni for £3 and Truffled Maris Piper Mashed Potato for £2.50 as part of its savoury selection.  

The supermarket will also be releasing its ‘Nduja and Sage Sausage Rolls for £2.30 and ‘Nduja and Kale Soup for £2.60.

The grocer’s more traditional dishes for the range include Cottage Pie for £3.50 and Root Vegetable Gratin for £2.70, adapted to incorporate seasonal vegetables.  

The store has also produced an Autumn-based dessert with its new Winter Berry Crumble with Flapjack Crumb for £4.  

“Never before has Sainsbury’s created an entirely devoted range for Autumn, but after speaking to our customers we realised this was something they were calling out for to help embrace the change in seasons through what they eat,” Sainsbury’s director of product and innovation Claire Hughes said.  

“The brilliant team of Sainsbury’s product developers and I are therefore thrilled to present our first ever limited edition Taste the Difference Autumn Edition range.”
