Asda has announced its chief ethics and compliance officer Tim Belser will leave the Big 4 grocer after over three years at the company.
Belser will be succeeded by Helen Selby, who has been appointed to manage the company’s new joint legal and compliance function.
The move follows the Big 4 grocers’ changeover to its new proprietors.
The supermarket recently announced the split from its parent company Walmart after it was sold out in 2020 to the Issa brothers for a record-breaking £6.8 billion.
Selby joined the company in April 2020 as general counsel. She joins from confectionary brand Mars Wrigley, where she held the position of general counsel.
She has previously worked at Hovis, where she held the position of general counsel and company secretary.
Selby is expected to join the company on June 14 2021.
