The deals will be running for one week at the end of every month in order to fall on payday for most shoppers. At the end of June, the deal went live both online and in-store and closed on 5 July.
Iceland, which also offers its popular 1p vegetable discount, has lifted limits on the multibuy deal meanings customers can maximise their grocery savings.
Current deals in The Food Warehouse include a discount for buying 72 cans of branded fizzy drinks at a time, in a ‘three for £21’ deal on multipacks of 24.
Another multibuy deal includes frozen lines such as TGI pizzas in a ‘three for £10’ offer. Multibuy discounts are currently available on 226 lines in total in The Food Warehouse stores.
Iceland has also begun offering a £40 basket of preselected shopping on its website made to “feed the family” for a week, including main meals, lunches and snacks.
The basket changes bi-weekly, comes with a £6.29 discount and is also eligible for free next-day delivery.
An Iceland spokesperson said the aim was to promote the free delivery service, available when spending £40 or more online, and to “provide guidance and inspiration to customers on how they can make their weekly spend go further” during the cost of living crisis.
