Too Good To Go has promoted Sophie Trueman as its managing director for UK and Ireland.
Trueman joined the food saving app in 2019, where she was appointed head of UK key accounts, before being promoted to head of business development of UK and Ireland in 2021. She succeeds previous MD Paschalis Loucaides who took over as took as vice presidents of operations.

Prior to Too Good To Go, Trueman held senior positions at FMCG giants L’Oréal and Amadeus for over a decade.
The news comes as The East of England Co-op partnered with Too Good To Go to ensure surplus stock doesn’t go to waste.
Under the agreement, the independent retailer’s 230 store estate are eligible to sell “magic bags” of unsold produce through the app.
