Morrisons has launched Meatless Farm’s first frozen range across its 490 stores.

The items have a recommended retail price of £3 in a bid to attract families looking for value, convenience and sustainable options.

Currently, Morrison’s has priced frozen burgers and chicken burgers for £3.50 a pack and frozen mince, meatballs and sausages for £3 a pack, with the latter already sold out online.
Meatless farm has also announced its frozen meatballs made with its “famous pea protein” would be a new product which hasn’t been featured in its other fresh ranges.
“Launching our fresh products and meatball NPD into the frozen aisle with a 5 SKU range sees us significantly expand into a new category at a time when more people than ever before are looking for great tasting plant-based food,” Meatless Farm UK and Ireland managing director Michael Hunter said.
“We are on a quest to democratise plant-based food making it accessible for all, and our frozen range takes us a step closer to achieving that by providing more product in packs to offer consumers value and convenience.”
