Morrisons non-food trading director leaves after four months
Morrisons group trading director for non-food, Bruno Lebon, has exited the supermarket chain after four months.
It is understood that Lebon, who joined the company in December, had originally agreed to serve a 12-month contract, reported The Grocer.
Having previously spent almost 40 years at French supermarket giant Carrefour, most recently as executive director of supermarkets and hypermarkets, the retail veteran has been a long-standing supporter of Morrisons CEO Rami Baitiéh.

However, Lebon is now thought to be leaving the company to business interests in his native France, with Morrisons group trading director Andrew Staniland due to take on his duties.
“Bruno has decided to leave slightly earlier than anticipated, but he leaves the business with our best wishes,” said a Morrisons spokesman. “We wish him well for the future.”
Alongside Lebon, Morrisons also poached Iceland’s Staniland as its group trading in February, as it aims to transform its food trading team.
Since his appointment, the supermarket has launched a “magic” overhaul of its fresh food counter concept, Market Street, as it restructures its trading team and eyes future growth.
