Herbal tea brand Pukka is expanding its range with the launch of three new matcha products, Matcha Tulsi Lemon, Matcha Vanilla Chai and Pukka Ceremonial Matcha.

This marks the brand’s entrance into the loose-powder matcha market and aims to capitalise on of the fastest-growing divisions within the green tea sector.

Pukka’s new range was designed to offer shoppers a premium matcha experience at an accessible price point for wellness-centred consumers.

The Vanilla Chai and Tulsi Lemon matcha products are listed on Amazon, Holland & Barrett, Ocado and selected health food stores with the full range rolling out from October 2026.

According to the business, the new range combines ceremonial-grade matcha with ethically sourced natural ingredients and includes sustainable packaging.

This builds on the significant rise of matcha consumption in the UK market, with over half of non-matcha drinkers saying they are interested in trying it within the next six months, according to research from Sm-firmenich.

Elle Barker, CMO, UK & Ireland, Lipton Teas and Infusions, said: “With Pukka Matcha, we’re combining organic, ceremonial-grade matcha with 25 years of herbal expertise to create a line-up that’s both delicious and accessible.

“We believe there’s a real opportunity to bring more people into the category by delivering the quality consumers expect organic and ethically sourced ingredients, alongside flavours they’ll genuinely love drinking every day.”

The latest launch will be supported by a fully integrated marketing campaign which includes in-store activations, immersive sampling, social media content and influencer partnerships to boost visibility.

Last month, the tea brand also launched two functional blends as it pushes towards high-potential innovations.
