Noot appoints Proof Drinks as exclusive UK distributor
Australian alcohol-free cocktail brand Noot has appointed Proof Drinks as its exclusive UK distribution partner.
The agreement will see Proof Drinks lead the rollout of Noot across the on and off-trade, with the distributor targeting supermarkets, independent retailers, quick-service restaurants and other hospitality operators.
Proof Drinks said the addition would strengthen its growing No, Low & Softs portfolio and help it respond to rising demand for flavour-led alternatives to alcoholic drinks. The company operates a nationwide distribution network and has relationships with more than 110 wholesalers, as well as the UK’s major supermarkets.
Noot’s range includes alcohol-free takes on familiar cocktails such as Limoncello Spritz, Ginger Mule and Aperitivo Spritz, alongside Watermelon Agave and Green Apple Whisky variants.
The products are available in 250ml ready-to-drink cans and 70cl bottles.
Each drink contains the brand’s proprietary NootBuzz blend of nootropics and adaptogens. Noot claims the formulation is designed to enhance mood and focus while allowing consumers to participate in social drinking occasions without alcohol.
The range includes ingredients such as green oat, lemon balm and green tea, according to reports.
Noot co-founder Gareth Whittle said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Proof Drinks to bring Noot to the UK, introducing more consumers to a non-alcoholic, mood-boosting range of cocktails that deliver on taste, occasion and ritual.
“Our goal has always been simple – to make drinks that spark joy. Whether you’re taking a break from alcohol or just want something refreshing between rounds, Noot is here to make life more fun.”
Founded in Australia in 2020, Noot was established by Whittle alongside brothers Kieron and Christian Barton, who previously worked on the Rekorderlig cider brand.
The business expanded into the US in 2025 and says it has since secured more than 5,000 distribution points globally across retail and hospitality.
Noot has identified the UK as a key market for its next stage of international growth, amid increasing consumer interest in moderation, functional beverages and premium alcohol-free alternatives.
Proof Drinks said the partnership would give UK customers access to a range that prioritises bold, recognisable flavours rather than relying solely on conventional mocktails or direct alcohol-free spirit substitutes.
