Starbucks brings viral Unicorn Frappuccino to UK for three-day run
Starbucks is bringing its viral Unicorn Frappuccino to the UK for the first time as part of a three-day summer promotion.
The limited-edition drink will be available at participating coffee shops across the country from 15 to 17 August, while stocks last.
First launched in the US in 2017, the brightly coloured beverage became a social media sensation thanks to its pink and blue appearance and colour-changing effect when stirred.
The UK version combines a crème Frappuccino base with a pink mango and peach-flavoured powder blend. It is topped with whipped cream and a sour blue raspberry-flavoured drizzle.
Prices will start at £5.60.
The launch follows a guest appearance by the drink at the Coachella music festival earlier this year.
Starbucks will also introduce a Unicorn Cake Pop alongside the beverage, priced from £3.30.
The vanilla cake pop is coated in white chocolate and decorated with chocolate ears, a white chocolate horn, colourful sprinkles, black icing eyelashes and pink icing cheeks.
Customers will be able to order both products in store, through the Starbucks UK app or via Starbucks Delivers where available.
