A new limited-time Grogu Café is launching in London this month, bringing Star Wars-themed food, drink and retail to the capital.

The pop-up, inspired by the fan-favourite character Grogu, will open at Kachette Annexe on Kingsland Road from Friday 15 May to Sunday 17 May.

The launch comes ahead of the cinema release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which opens in cinemas on 22 May 2026.

The café will combine themed décor, curated photo moments and a limited-edition menu designed around Grogu’s character and the wider Star Wars universe.

Food and drink items have been created in collaboration with Bread Ahead, Bubble CiTea and PerfectTed, with each brand developing Grogu-inspired products for the pop-up.

PerfectTed will serve a trio of matcha drinks priced at £5.50 each, including Galactic Blueberry, a blueberry matcha latte with traditional blueberry cheong; Iced Cherry & Coconut, made with cherry matcha and coconut cold foam; and Little Green Lemonade, featuring kiwi puree, cloudy lemonade, sparkling water and matcha poured over ice.

Bubble CiTea will offer three themed drinks, also priced at £5.50 each. These include Fruity CuTea, made with jasmine tea, grape popping bubbles and purple edible glitter; Pistachio Dreams, featuring pistachio, jasmine and milk tea with tapioca and brown sugar; and Strawberry Zest, made with jasmine tea, strawberry popping bubbles, apple and lemon syrups and edible silver glitter.

Bread Ahead has created a range of themed bakery products, including The Little Green Doughnut, filled with green matcha crème pâtissière, and the Blue Tropical Doughnut, filled with coconut milk crème pâtissière and pineapple chunks. Doughnuts will be priced at £5.50.

The bakery will also offer a Cosmic Cookie, made with vanilla and lemon crunch, priced at £2.50 each or three for £6.

Visitors will also be able to shop Star Wars and Grogu-inspired blind boxes, accessories and plush toys from MINISO through a dedicated retail installation on site.

The Grogu Café is aimed at Star Wars fans, matcha lovers and visitors looking for a themed food and drink experience.

Entry is free but ticketed, with advance tickets available via DisneyTickets.co.uk. A limited number of same-day tickets will also be released from 9am on each event day.

The pop-up will run from 12.30pm to 8.30pm on 15 May, and from 9am to 8.30pm on 16 and 17 May.
