Whole Foods Market opens newest London store
Whole Foods Markets has opened a new London store on Liverpool Street today (23 April) as part of the supermarket retailer’s expansion push across the city.
The new 3,315 sq ft site was tailored for office workers within the city, offering a convenience-based grab-and-go format.
The Liverpool store will offer a selection of quick, on-the-go lunch options and convenient ready meals to meet the demands of commuters and office workers.
Additionally, the Whole Foods Market features hot food offerings and self-serve coffee, which provides a quick option for breakfasts, lunch and evening meals.

The store team leader for Whole Foods Market Liverpool Street, Magdalena Gembiec, said: “The new store really reflects the Liverpool Street community – it’s fast-paced, focused on essentials, and designed for people who are always on the move.
“It’s designed to be a trusted food destination, creating a vibrant and inclusive space that brings people together and naturally becomes part of people’s daily routine.”
As part of the celebration openings, the first 200 customers will receive tote bags and a £5 voucher to spend in stores.
The opening comes after a new London store was opened in Angel earlier this month. This move builds on the brand’s current expansion around London, which aims to expand its health-focused range to more high-footfall areas across the city.
In March the retailer announced plans to open six new locations in London by June, which would double its overall presence in the UK.
