Nando’s is launching its Peri Peri Saka sauce in Asda and Tesco this week across the UK and Ireland, marking the first collaboration to secure retail listings.

The sauce is a collaboration between English footballer Bukayo Saka and Nando’s, which achieved mass success after its launch.

There was popular consumer demand for the flavour to return, leading to a permanent deal between UK retailers and Nando’s.

This is the brand’s first collaboration to launch in retailers, which is a move that aims to allow consumers to try their recipes at home.

The specific flavour gained major social media traction, and shoppers paid bids for bottles on eBay, according to the business.

The sauce contains smoky BBQ and tomato combined with Nando’s Peri-Peri as well as tomato, garlic and smoked paprika.

The Peri-Peri Saka flavour is now on shelves at Asda and Tesco stores for a recommended retail price of £4.50.

The sauce is set to launch at supermarket retailers Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Ocado, Morrison’s and Nisa in the upcoming weeks as well.

This move builds on the brand’s success across UK retailers, with research from Worldpanel revealing that Nando’s is among the top three table sauces in households.
