Morrisons hands out reindeer treats this Christmas
Supermarket chain Morrisons will be handing out free wonky carrots in stores nationwide this Christmas.
The retailer is giving away more than 27 tonnes of carrots from its Naturally Wonky range to “little shoppers” from 20 December until Christmas Eve.
The carrots may look slightly unusual, but will make the “perfect” treat for Rudolph and his friends, said the retailer.

Its Naturally Wonky line aims to prevent thousands of fruit and vegetables from going to waste. It includes vegetables such as carrots, courgettes, parsnips and potatoes
Chris Smith, root veg senior trader at Morrisons said: “Christmas is all about spreading joy and cheer, so we’re delighted to offer our younger customers a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and his friends on Christmas Eve.
“Our Naturally Wonky range supports British farmers, reduces waste and gives customers a great-value option that still tastes fantastic.”
