Aldi set to open five new stores within 24 hours
Aldi has announced plans to open five new stores in 24 hours ahead of the busy Christmas shopping period.
The discounter plans to open new stores in Uxbridge, Old Kent Road and Northallerton, Pershore, on 11 December and a new store in Yate, Bristol, on 12 December.
Aldi plans to offer shoppers fresh British produce and its range of exclusive Specialbuys. Additionally, the new five stores will create around 200 new jobs in the local communities.
Jon Neale, real estate managing director at Aldi UK, said: “Opening any new store is exciting, but opening five in 24 hours, just before Christmas, will make a huge difference for customers in each of these areas. It reflects the demand we’re seeing right across the UK and the scale of our ambition as we continue to grow.
