Morrisons holds roadshows for prospective franchisees
Supermarket chain Morrisons has launched a series of roadshows to widen its franchise retailers’ knowledge of its vertically integrated model.
The events are designed to show retailers a first-hand view of the supermarket’s supply chain across Myton Food Group sites.
Morrisons’ first roadshow took place on 26 November at Myton Food Group Flower World in Derby, where its fresh flowers and bouquets are produced.

Visitors were able to tour the site and see the Christmas flower range being prepared, with the opportunity to make their own creations.
Additionally, the event included a business update as well as a roundtable collaboration and discussions.
The retailer’s next manufacturing roadshows are due to run in March at the Myton Food Group Chippendale and Flaxby sites.
Customers will receive invitations in the early new year, with the roadshows occurring before the annual Morrisons retailer conference on 20 May 2026.
All of the roadshows are set to take place over two days, with one day focusing on existing franchise retailers and the other on new prospects who want to learn more about the Morrisons Daily model and franchise proposition, according to the supermarket.
Morrisons head of retail for franchise Katharine Challinor said: “We are really excited to kick off the series of roadshows for our retail franchisees, and also any new prospects that are interested in finding out more about our Morrisons Daily model.
“The first roadshow at Myton Food Group Flower World was a great success and we will look forward to inviting our new and prospective franchise partners to Myton Food Group Chippendale and Flaxby in March.”
