Trip, the UK-founded CBD drinks company, has secured $40 million (£30.5m) in its latest funding round, valuing the business at $300 million (£228.5m).

The investment positions Trip as the most valuable UK drinks brand since Innocent and Fever-Tree, and the highest-valued drinks business led by a female founder and CEO.

Founded in 2019 by Olivia Ferdi and Dan Khoury, Trip has grown rapidly, topping the Alantra ‘Fast 50’ list of the UK’s fastest-growing food and drink businesses in 2024.

The company expects revenues to surpass $100 million (£76.2m) this financial year and forecasts more than doubling sales in 2026.

High-profile investors backing the round include Joe Jonas, Alessandra Ambrosio, Paul Wesley, Ashley Graham, Sophie Habboo, and New York firm Coefficient Capital.

Trip had previously raised over £25 million, including a £5.6 million equity investment with The Equity Studio in December 2024.

“We created Trip to make calm accessible to everyone, everywhere,” said Ferdi.

“This funding will help us move faster than ever, breaking records and barriers for female-founded, mission-driven businesses worldwide.”
