THG partners with SG Safety Corporation to expand in South Korea
THG has announced a licensing partnership with SG Safety Corporation in South Korea to grow the presence of its online sports nutrition brand, Myprotein.
The deal with SG Safety Corporation, a business development company under CJ Group, will see Myprotein-branded products manufactured in South Korea.
Myprotein’s range of products, including bars and snacks, powders, ready-to-drink products and sports nutrition supplements, will roll out in the South Korean market.
Neil Mistry, CEO of THG Nutrition, said: “South Korean consumers have already shown a strong affinity for Myprotein, and we’re pleased to be building on that momentum through this partnership.
“Working with SG Safety Corporation, a specialist distribution and business development division within CJ Group, gives us the ability to reach more customers more efficiently.”

The new deal is expected to be completed in Q4 of 2025, which marks THG’s first licensing agreement in South Korea.
As part of the agreement, THG will manufacture some of its key lines, such as its protein powders, while SG Safety Corporation will function as a distributor in South Korea.
The announcement comes on the heels of a slight financial recovery for the company in the second quarter of 2025.
