Tesco trials Issviva menopause care ranges
Tesco has launched a range of Issviva menopause care products in 100 of its stores and online. The Issviva’s ranges will be available for purchase during a year-long trial period with the retail giant.
The retailer is seeking to make products designed to support women going through menopause more easily accessible and to raise awareness of menopausal health.
Issviva, owned by global health and hygiene company Essity, was founded in 2022 as a direct-to-consumer brand. The collaboration with Tesco marks its debut into bricks-and-mortar retail.
Essity commercial director Nicola Conway said: “At Essity, we’ve always broken new ground in health and hygiene – and this is no exception.
“Working closely with Tesco, there is a huge growth potential in this area, driven by insight, unmet need and changing consumer expectations.”

According to the company, Issviva’s products were designed in collaboration with 40,000 UK women and healthcare professionals to assist those going through the process of menopause.
The Issviva collection available in Tesco stores includes supplements, intimate hygiene and care products and wellness solutions.
Conway added: “Women’s health can’t be an afterthought – and through Issviva, we’re giving menopause the visibility and credibility it deserves.
“Working with Tesco is a major milestone, and together we’re laying the foundations for a dynamic, high-growth category with the power to transform lives.”
Essity is a global health company which operates multiple brands including Bodyform, TENA and Modibodi.
Moving forward, Issviva plans to grow its retail presence and expand the range of products that it offers.
