The Compleat Food Group appoints first chief operating officer
Chilled prepared food supplier The Compleat Food Group has appointed Brian Byrne as its first chief operating officer (COO) to support its growth strategy.
Byrne joined the business in 2023 as chief procurement officer and has since helped to transform its procurement function. In his new role, effective 1 May, he will take overall accountability for the end-to-end supply chain, including planning, sourcing, manufacturing and delivery.

Prior to joining The Compleat Food Group, Byrne’s career spanned over two decades in global supply chain leadership roles, including at Burton’s Biscuit Company and Fox’s Burton’s Companies.
Byrne said: “I’m delighted to take on this new role and help shape the next phase of growth for The Compleat Food Group. We have an incredible team and a strong foundation to build upon. I’m excited to work across our supply chain and operational teams to ensure we deliver great food, even more efficiently, to our customers and consumers.”
