Italian orange bittersweet aperitif Aperol is launching a ready-to-serve pre-mixed version of the classic Aperol Spritz cocktail.

Available in a four-pack single-serve format, Aperol said the NDP looks to provide consumers with ease, consistency and convenience.

Made with the brand’s unchanged secret recipe, which blends citrus oil infused with herbs and roots, the drink is balanced with sparkling wine and soda.

Campari Group UK Italian icons brand ambassador Loris Contro said: “As one of the most recognisable cocktails in the world, Aperol Spritz has long been enjoyed as part of relaxed, sociable moments. Now, these spontaneous moments can take place unpredictably, with the perfect Aperol Spritz at your fingertips.

“With Aperol Spritz Ready to Serve, we’re delighted to offer a convenient way to enjoy the same high-quality cocktail, without the need for mixing —simply chill and pour over ice with an orange slice for a perfectly balanced serve.”

The new ready-to-serve product will roll out into Waitrose, Amazon and Ocado from 24 March, followed by Sainsbury’s and Morrisons later in the month. It will also launch in Asda and Tesco in April, and Co-op from mid-May.
