One Stop launches community Christmas hampers for the ninth year
One Stop is bringing back its popular community Christmas hampers for the ninth consecutive year.
Following a successful campaign in 2023, the convenience retailer is once again giving its stores – including franchise locations – a budget to create hampers for people in need.
Over the past five years, One Stop has created 20,000 community Christmas hampers.
This year, colleagues from all stores, distribution centres and head office teams have been encouraged to donate festive hampers to local charities, community groups, or even just regular customers who deserve a little extra joy this Christmas.

One Stop community and partnerships manager Jack Taylor said: “Our One Stop colleagues never fail to amaze us with their efforts in creating the hampers; it truly gets everyone into the festive spirit. Last year, our stores produced 4,000 hampers and we’re hopeful for another successful year – after all, Christmas is a time for giving.
“Our Christmas hampers project is always a magical time of year for everyone at One Stop, colleagues from around the business and the UK are empowered to support individuals, families or community groups to help make the festive season extra special. We always look forward to seeing our hampers spreading joy across our communities each year.”
It comes as the retailer has been updating and improving many of its food ranges this year, having expanded its fresh food offer with an additional 39 products to provide customers with “healthier choices” in April.
It has since unveiled a new and improved alcohol selection with a total of 38 new lines across its beer, cider, cocktail, ready to drink, and no and low categories, launched 16 new bakery lines, revamped its confectionery range with 43 new lines, and brought in new lines across its biscuits, cereals and beverages categories.
