One Stop expands fresh food range to offer ‘healthier’ choices

One Stop is expanding its fresh food offer with an additional 39 products to provide customers with “healthier choices”.

The convenience retailer unveiled its first range reset in two years in October, welcoming a total of 108 new products to stores including pre-prepped vegetables, high protein snacks and ready meals.

From today (11 April), new branded products such as Fresh & Naked wild rocket, Pork Farms Ploughmans pork pies and Wall’s Bombay potato and spinach flatbread will roll out in stores, alongside own-brand items such as sweet potato fries, chicken tenders, Greek style yoghurt, and spinach and ricotta tortelloni.

One Stop head of product Henry Maulik said: This is a really exciting time for the business – being able to offer even more fresh food options for our customers is fantastic.”

He explained that the extended range comes as research has shown that people are looking for “healthier choices alongside convenient solutions for their families”.

“The customer shopping experience is always at the forefront of our strategy, and we’ll continually review this to make it as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Responding and listening to our customers’ needs continues to be a priority in everything we do,” Maulik added.

It comes as One Stop has teamed up with Snappy Shopper to offer a rapid delivery service in a bid to enhance customer experience and boost sales.

Snappy Shopper will be introduced in 250 initial stores from June, following a successful trial period last year.
