Ella’s Kitchen has partnered with climate app Eevie as it seeks to ramp up its sustainability targets.
The baby and kids’ food brand has teamed up with the employee climate engagement app to inspire action and courage climate-conscious behaviour from Ella’s Kitchen staff members.
The app features climate challenges for employees and rewards sustainable behaviour. It is understood the collaboration is aimed at accelerating Ella Kitchen’s ’30 x 30′ campaign, which has seen it partner with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) to plant over 30m sq ft of grass and wildflower meadows by 2030.

Ella’s Kitchen head of impact Chris Jenkins said: “At Ella’s Kitchen, we’ve set big goals to reduce carbon emissions and change how we operate – from using easier-to-recycle packaging to working with partners to cut emissions across our supply chain. But it’s also important to show our team how the small changes they make can have a big impact.
“That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Eevie, a fellow B Corp. The Eevie app will educate, inspire, and encourage our employees to make simple, climate-friendly, and nature-positive choices every day.
“And for every climate conscious choice they make, they will help us plant more wildflowers.”
The new partnership will contribute to Ella Kitchen’s wider sustainability target, including the goal of reducing its Scope 3 emissions by 28% by 2030.
