Lidl predicts busiest bank holiday shopping days
Lidl has predicted its busiest shopping days over the upcoming bank holiday weekend and confirmed its opening hours.
While all the discounter’s stores in Great Britain will be open as usual on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May, some stores will see reduced opening hours on Bank Holiday Monday (27 May).
In England (outside the M25) and Wales, stores will be open from 8am to 8pm, however those within the M25 will be open from 8am to 10pm.

Stores in Scotland will be open as normal, however the German grocer is advising all customers to check onlines for their local store opening hours.
The retailer is anticipating that today (Friday 24 May) and Saturday 25 May will be the busiest days, as shoppers stock up for the long weekend.
It comes as more customers are choosing to shop at Lidl than ever before, as the grocer reached a market share high of 8.1% and has been the fastest growing bricks and mortar supermarket for nine months in a row, according to Kantar.
Ahead of the bank holiday weekend, the supermarket revamped its loyalty scheme with new Lidl Plus Offers which provide loyalty scheme members with weekly discounts alongside the existing ‘Lidl Plus For You’ Coupons.
Some savings available this weekend include 10 x 250ml cans of Pimm’s and lemonade down £2 to £10.99, 12 x 330ml cans of Cobra Lager down £2 to £8.99, as well as Birchwood XXL sausages and Birchwood chicken chipolatas sausages both down 30p to £2.35 and £2.19, respectively.
