What did we learn?

  1. 70% of European Consumers Regularly Choose Private Label Products: While initial purchases may be price-driven, 50% of respondents said they plan to continue purchasing private labels even if their economic situation improves. This shows the allure of private labels extends beyond price, reflecting a shift towards trust in the quality of the product.
  2. Sustainability Takes Center Stage: Consumers are placing more emphasis on sustainability when making purchasing decisions. Terms like “recyclable”, “less packaging”, and “less plastic” positively influence their purchase decisions.
  3. Eye-Catching Packaging: The Key to Consumer Choice: 1 in 4 consumers say that packaging and its features are the reason that they buy private label products.
