Asda expands Little Angels brand with gender-neutral kidswear launch

Asda has expanded its range of baby care and food with the launch of a new Little Angels George gender-neutral children’s clothing range.

The new collection will feature gender-neutral style clothes for children aged 3 months to 4 years, with outfits including rompers, shorts and sweatshirts.

The new clothing incorporates bright colours, prints and slogans, which Asda said was designed to create a playful offering to customers while providing fits comfortable for children to move in.

Developed in line with the rebranded Little Angels range of nappies, toiletries and food, the new clothing line is said to bring “value, style and convenience to life” through the “trend-led product”.

George buying and design director Glenda Hansford said: “Our customers love Asda’s Little Angels products so it was a natural fit to evolve the brand into children’s clothing.

“Value, style and convenience were central to bringing this range to life so that all our customers have access to trend-led products for their children that they can pick up at the same time as their weekly shop.”

It is not the first time Asda’s George has adapted its clothes range. Last year in a supermarket first, Asda released a clothing collection aimed at supporting independent dressing for children and young people with disabilities.
