Asda has revealed that it will be extending its infant and preschool offering both instore and online, using QR code technology as it teams up with some of the UK’s best-loved baby brands.
The current range will be bolstered with travel systems, furniture and gifts from some of the UK’s best loved baby brands, offering a bigger range for parents.
The new lines from major brands such as Mamas & Papas, Graco and Ickle Bubba will be available online and cover a wide range of parenting essentials, from feeding equipment, toys and gifting to travel products, baby equipment and car seats.

They will also be displayed in branded bays in selected stores across the country.Customers unable to find a particular product or colour in store will also be able to scan a QR code on the shelf that will take them direct to George.com, where they will be able to shop the range.
“We’re partnering with fantastic baby brands that perfectly complement our existing Little Angels and George ranges to help make Asda a ‘one-stop-shop’ for parents,” commented Matt Harrison, senior director of business development and partnerships at Asda.
“From this week Asda customers will be able to view and buy exciting new baby products in stores and online, with the inclusion of QR codes offering more ways to shop as part of a truly multichannel proposition.”
