Former Booths CEO Chris Dee has been appointed as the new non-executive chairman of fine food supplier DukesHill.
Dee’s appointment follows a successful trading period for Royal Warrant Holder DukesHill in 2023.
The supplier, which specialises in artisan ham producing and luxury hampers, saw its trade business double due to new listings in online grocer Ocado as it launched a new dry-cured premium bacon range.
Dee said: “I’m delighted to be joining DukesHill and working with the talented team there. It’s an exceptional brand with a growing reputation and an exciting time to be onboard as they look to expand the business”.

Dee first joined Booths as a wine and spirit buyer and stayed with the supermarket for 25 years, holding roles such as trading director, and chief operating officer, before stepping down from CEO in 2017.
He went on to serve as Harrods director of food and home and as a non-executive chairman for peanut butter brand ManiLife.
DukesHill CEO Mark Gallagher added: “We’re thrilled that Chris is joining DukesHill as its Non-Executive Chairman. He brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the role and we’re very much looking forward to working with him.”
