Aldi is now offering a contactless payment option in its ‘Shop&Go’ checkout-free store to make the site “easier to use”.
Shoppers at the Greenwich store will not have to register via the Shop&Go app and can instead tap their contactless payment card, or mobile phone, to enter the store.
The store, which first opened in January 2022, allows customers to complete their shop without scanning a single product or having to go through a checkout.
