Tango was the standout performer in drinks giant Britvic’s full-year results as sales of the brand have tripled since 2018.
Over the past year alone, Tango revenue has surged 20.7% as Britvic introduced the new Paradise Punch flavour, building on the success of its Berry Peachy and Dark Berry launches.
The drinks giant said that Tango was the “fastest growing fruit flavoured carbonates brand” as it helped Britvic sales jump 6.6% to £1.75bn for the year to 30 September 2023.
Price hikes across its portfolio helped drive the sales growth, with prices up 10.6% per litre in Great Britain, while adjusted EBIT increased 5.9% to £218.4m across the year.
Pepsi Max was also a strong performer as Britvic claimed it was the fastest growing cola brand in the UK.
