Heineken has appointed Mondelez International senior vice president for global commerce, Glenn Caton, as its new president for Europe.
Caton will succeed Soren Hagh from 1 January 2024 and will join the drinks company’s executive team reporting to Heineken CEO and chairman of the executive board, Dolf van den Brink.
He joins after 10 years at Mondelez where he is currently responsible for channel strategy, revenue growth management, customer partnerships and sales excellence.

Caton first joined the Cadbury owner in 2013 as VP for chocolate in northern Europe before becoming president of the region in 2016.
In 2018, he held the role of category president for chocolate across Asia, Middle East and Africa, before becoming business unit president for South-East Asia and has also previously worked at P&G and Direct Wines.
