Tesco is adding its “reduced in price, just as nice” signage to 300 more supermarkets since its initial launch last October.
According to the grocer, plans are now in the works to expand the signs to even more stores, to help shoppers find discounted products and reduce waste.
The supermarket range features items such as fresh produce close to its expiry date, as well as end of season items.

Tesco group quality, technical and sustainability director, Claire Lorains, said: “At Tesco we have no time for food waste and we do everything we can to reduce it.
“Our customers are always on the lookout for great value food, and our rebranded ‘reduced in price, just as nice’ signage makes it easier than ever to spot a short-dated and top-quality bargain”.
The signs were initially introduced last year, after a survey revealed customers would buy more yellow sticker food products if the area where they were found looked nicer.
