Waitrose unveils 3D billboard to mark price cut campaign

Waitrose has unveiled a new 3D billboard as part of an integrated marketing campaign to showcase its price cuts across 200 products.

Located in London’s Westfield White City, the nearly 20ft tall billboard is among an array of elements that make up the campaign.

Earlier this month, the supermarket invested £100m to cut the price of products including butter, tomato ketchup, Fairtrade golden caster sugar, cocktail sausages, salad and ice creams, with half of these items now at least 10% cheaper.

As part of the campaign the strapline ‘New Lower Prices on hundreds of your favourites’, will be used in adverts across TV, press, radio, digital and social media.

There will also be signage across 331 Waitrose shops including window decals, hanging banners, wraps around checkouts and car park bollards.

Waitrose customer director, Nathan Ansell said: “We’ve lowered prices on hundreds of customer favourites in every aisle and we want to shout loudly about it. Our campaign does just that – it’s bold, eye-catching and highlights all the great-tasting products customers can now save on.

“We’ve made these cuts with absolutely no compromise on the high quality, high welfare, and delicious recipes our customers expect from us.”
