Five new products: Cadbury, Jam Shed, Mars, Kettle Chips, The Gym Kitchen

Cadbury

Confectionary company, Cadbury has launched a new Chocolate Topping Sauce.

Available in 950g recyclable bottles, each typically contains at least 60 servings when used as recommended.

The launch of the product, which has an RPP of £6.99, comes as Cadbury looks to tap into the premium dessert market.

Jam Shed

Wine brand, Jam Shed has unveiled a new Australian Sparkling Rosé.

Available in Big 4 grocer Asda, the beverage includes hints of cream and summer berries and looks to encourage new consumers to the category.

“Our consumers are younger, more demanding and faced with lots of choice and we know we must deliver genuine engagement and excitement to keep them coming back for more. Jam Shed Sparkling Rosé is the right product to put some real fizz into retailers’ sales in 2023,” Accolade Wines marketing director for Europe, Tom Smith said.

Mars

Food manufacturer, Mars has launched two new Galaxy and Twix Gluten Free Cookies.

The Galaxy offering is made with oats and topped with Galaxy chocolate, while the Twix cookies include caramel and chocolate with a softer texture.

The packs, which include four individually wrapped cookies, are available in Sainsbury’s from 17 April at RRP £2.89.

Kettle Chips

Hand-cooked crisp brand, Kettle Chips is adding two new flavours to its portfolio in Sriracha Mayo and Dill Pickle & Jalapeño.

Both products will be rolling out in Waitrose this month, with further grocery and impulse listings from May onwards.

The launches look to showcase the brand’s extension into trend-led flavour profiles and have been created using bold combinations from around the world.

The Gym Kitchen

Healthy meals challenger, The Gym Kitchen has expanded its macro-counted frozen meal offerings with three new recipes.

The products, which rolled out in Tesco stores last month, include Chicken Arrabbiata Linguine, Chicken & Chorizo Paella and the brand’s first fish-based meal, Salmon Linguine.

Each 400g portion is high in protein, under 400 calories and retails for £2.50 per meal.

“Our customers have been asking us for additions for a while now, and, as our proposition is centred around convenience and hassle-free healthy meal prep, having a wide range of delicious dishes available is incredibly important,” founder, Segun Akinwoleola said.
