Aldi unveils 2023 chocolate Easter range

Aldi has launched a range of new chocolate egg-themed products as part of its 2023 Easter range.

In time for celebrations, the discount grocer has uneviled a selection of peanut butter offerings including a salted milk chocolate and chunky peanut egg, which includes peanut butter filled eggs inside for £4.99.

Aldi has also launched Peanut Butter Mini Eggs, available in stores now for £1.49, which the supermarket has said ‘taste just like popular brand Reeces’.

Competing with M&S over its mini egg bar, Aldi has rolled out a Dairyfine Mini Chocolate Eggs Chunky Bar for £2.99, which is 35% cheaper.

Returning to stores this Easter, Aldi will be offering the Moser Roth Chocolate Bunny in milk, white and milk hazelnut varients for £1.49, alongisde the brand’s new Luxury Egg and Truffles for £5.99.

The new Choceur Mini Bunnies five-pack will also be available in Aldi stores from 13 March.

Priced at £1.69, the product can be bought in two flavours, Cookies & Cream and Popping Candy.

This comes as Waitrose has also launched its Easter food range with reduced packaging to save nearly one tonne of plastic from going to landfill.

The upmarket retailer has stopped using plastic trays and removed plastic windows from nearly all of its Easter confectionary, with its overall packaging weight reduced by almost 20%.
