Arla is expanding its health offering with a new range of 200g Protein Puddings that are high in protein, low in fat and contain no added sugar.
Launching in Sainsbury’s on 4 January, the product will come with a supporting £1 promotion at the retailer for three weeks before expanding into Asda from 20 February and Morrisons on 27 March.
The puddings from the international food company will be available in three flavours: chocolate, salted caramel and hazelnut latte.

They are also lactose-free, low-calorie and have added vitamin D and magnesium, in addition to 20g of protein.
This launch comes following a standout year for Arla in the yoghurt and pot desserts category, which the brand credited to its Arla Protein lineup.
They had been designed for “consumers who need an indulgent snack, without having to compromise on taste and calories,” according to brand manager at Arla Protein UK, Ellie Van der Werff.
She added: “Our research suggests a strong desire from the UK market for protein puddings – with this range tapping into the permissible indulgence territory.
“It also allows the brand to move into a new evening occasion, thus introducing the Arla Protein UK brand to a wider audience,” Van der Werff said.
The news comes as Arla Foods UK has launched a new scheme for its branded milk that displays the brand’s quality and sustainability assurance from farmers.
