The Great British Porridge Co has launched a new ‘Oatrageously Original’ mix.
The porridge is the latest addition to its growing range of 100% natural, instant, plant-based porridge mixes.
The FMCG brand said that after an “overwhelming” demand from customers for a porridge they could ‘make their own’, the new product uses only a handful of natural ingredients.

Available from January 2023, The Great British Porridge Co’s ‘Oatrageously Original’ porridge is selling for an RRP of £3.20 for 1 x 385g pouch (8 servings).
The company hopes to encourage consumers to get creative with flavours or just enjoy its great original taste.
The new mix will join its range of six other porridge flavours, including: Classic Chocolate, Blueberry & Banana, Red Berry & Pumpkin Seed, Strawberry & Peanut and Caffe Latte.
“We’re thrilled to finally be releasing our Oatrageously Original porridge to the world,” owner of The Great British Porridge Co, Matt Hunt said.
“Smoothie bowls, and overnight oats are becoming increasingly popular so we wanted to offer porridge lovers the chance to get creative with their breakfasts and design their own unique bowls of greatness using this delicious new launch.
Hunt added: “Our plant-based mixes are made using 100% natural ingredients, they are also high in fibre so they’ll keep the nation feeling fuller for longer.”
The news comes as Aldi unveiled its latest packaging re-design updating its own-brand porridge pots to be made from carboard as it looks to reduce its plastic waste.
