Waitrose highlights new deals in ‘ways to spend less’ campaign

Waitrose is highlighting money-saving deals with its new ‘ways to spend less’ campaign, encouraging customers to save cash where they can.

The supermarket chain rolled out its ‘Waitrose ways to spend less’ logo this week, which revealed offers both in store and online, including its £15 pizza meal deal and newly launched dine in for two meal deal.

The new green and yellow ‘ways to spend less’ label is being prominently displayed at most Waitrose branches from today, as the grocer looks to help consumers with soaring energy bills amid the cost-of-living crisis.

The deal features a range of long-lasting cupboard essentials that will serve as vital supplies for many over the coming winter, such as baked beans and tuna cans, as well as laundry and toiletries multibuy offers.

In a marketing email sent to customers yesterday, Waitrose said: “Look out for the arrow symbol online and in store to be sure you’re getting great Waitrose value.”

Waitrose added it wanted to make it as easy as possible for customers to spot savings opportunities across stores and communications, with the new colourful logo helping to signpost value across its available offers.

“It was a way of helping customers to manage their spend while not compromising on a treat meal,” commercial director at Waitrose, Charlotte di Cello said.

She added that it’s one of the ways they are “showing up for our customers” amid the cost-of-living crisis.

The campaign is also being used to highlight exclusive MyWaitrose offers, as well as multibuy deals on alcohol and household items, meal deals, Essential Waitrose, and budget friendly recipes.

Waitrose launched its revamped loyalty programme, myWaitrose, earlier this year in a bid to prioritise personalised offers and increase savings.
