Pepsi Max Taste Challenge to return to the UK

Pepsi Max is calling on cola fans across Britain to take part in the Pepsi Max Taste Challenge, which is returning to the UK this August and September.

The challenge involves participating in a blind taste test to determine which they prefer between leading cola brands Pepsi MAX and Coca-Cola.

According to the soft drinks brand, “65% of UK consumers prefer the taste of Pepsi Max to its competitor,” as decided by the last blind taste test challenge, which took place in 2019.

The Pepsi Max Taste Challenge will also be supported by a full campaign featuring television commercials, digital advertising and the launch of Pepsi Max’s ‘POPFIZZAHH’ campaign, starring British artist and comedian, Michael Dapaah.

The brand recently launched a ‘Challenge Your Taste’ campaign, which is a continuation of previous initiatives and a natural evolution of its Taste Challenge heritage.

The news comes as PepsiCo launches its ‘healthier’ range of Walkers and Doritos as the food and drink giant moves to transform its recipes to be HFSS compliant.
