Tesco debuts click-and-collect payment plan

Big 4 grocer Tesco is launching a click-and-collect scheme for the first time ever, alongside, two new saver delivery options, offering customers more variety.

Costing £2.49 a month, the click-and-collect plan aims to offer customers with “more choice and flexibility to pick a plan that works for them, whatever their lifestyle or budget.”

As a result, it offers free same day collections, as well as more options to suit customers needs with more convenient delivery slots.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “We’re launching three new Delivery Saver tiers – including a dedicated Click+Collect plan for the first time.”

The Big 4 grocer also unveiled three new delivery saver options including any-time delivery plan – same day delivery from £6.99 a month, a new click-and-collect plan for £2.49 a month, and an off-peak delivery plan from £3.99 a month.

Existing customers will stay on their current plan for the time being, and customers will be contacted if anything changes.

Previously, the grocer offered 12 month plans, but sign-ups were temporarily stopped for new customers to help with demand due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
