Asda to deploy InPost lockers at 700 UK stores
Asda is working to make the collection and returns of parcels easier, as it partners with InPost to install lockers at 700 stores nationwide.
The rollout forms part of Asda’s continued investment in services that make life easier for customers and enhance the convenience of shopping in-store.
The automated parcel lockers will be installed across a mix of Asda superstores, supermarkets and Express locations, enabling customers to collect, send and return parcels at a time that suits them.
The launch builds on the growing demand for out-of-home delivery solutions, as consumers increasingly look for greater flexibility and control over when and where they send and receive parcels.
Joseph Sutton, Asda director – express, fuel & wholesale, said: “Our unmatched mix of services is a key part of what sets Asda apart, and we know customers increasingly value the convenience of being able to tick off multiple tasks in a single trip.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with InPost to bring parcel lockers to up to 700 locations nationwide. This rollout gives customers a fast and flexible way to collect and return parcels, seamlessly fitting around their weekly shop and making everyday life a little easier.”

As part of InPost’s growing UK network of more than 16,000 lockers, the partnership underlines the shift towards out-of-home delivery in the UK.
The commitment to install up to 700 Lockers across Asda’s estate will broaden access to InPost’s network and strengthen the role of lockers as a mainstream alternative to traditional home delivery.
Paul Selvey, network director at InPost UK, commented: “This is a major milestone for InPost in the UK. Partnerships with household-name retailers like Asda are central to our ambition to make out-of-home delivery as easy and accessible as possible for consumers across the country.
“Asda’s scale and nationwide footprint give us a significant opportunity to bring InPost Lockers closer to millions more people. Partnerships like this are helping change the way people think about parcel delivery and making lockers an increasingly established part of the UK delivery landscape.”
